When I have used bluetooth ones in the past, it takes a while to connect to my phone. I have used different phones and different bluetooth ODBC readers.

A cracked copy of Torque Pro? Do you get any additional functionality? Or are you just "saving" $4.95?

These connect a lot faster and better than those cheap Bluetooth adapters. I can't speak for the expensive ones.

Have had this a few years and it reads and deletes codes gives you real time diagnostics. It's a great tool for just 12 bucks.

I have both the Ancel and Torque Pro on one of the cheap bluetooth readers, and the reader takes a while to work sometimes - it may or may not show up on a phone. This Ancel works great and is very fast to connect. For $12 it's a no brainer.

Well I have a different model of a low priced Ancel and found the build quality to be excellent for the price. The buttons and cable are good quality. All of the low price ones do the same thing which is just read the standard OBII codes. some will show live data and a few other things but in general more features is higher price.

I bought this last year and has worked flawless. I thought I wanted a bluetooth one, but this works quick, no waiting for blutooth to connect and I can use my iphone to look up things while using this scanner. well worth $12
