Constantly glitching, no volume number, always resets itself a couple times a week. Sometimes it won't turn on... It might be 2 years old. It's just junk. I would never recommend it. Hopefully I find something else today
I've had no issues with my Hisense. Purchased in 2013 and it's still going strong. It doesn't have Roku OS, just whatever "Smart" OS that was available for TV's at the time which seems to be very clunky and I've never really used it, I prefer to just add a Fire TV stick and I'm good to go.

Are these bright enough for outdoor usage? I want a cheap TV for outside that is bright enough to see. The sun wouldn't be on it.
From the inter webs, you want at least ~500-600 nits for outside. This won't meet that. But if you have a covered patio that doesn't get any sun, then maybe give it a try? It is Costco so you can return it in 30 days no questions asked.
I'm getting the 58" Hisense U6 FireTV from Amazon for $350 for outside. I am limited to nothing > than 60" due to my mounted enclosure. It is also the brightest TV closest to 60" that I could find. I currently have an old R6 Hisense outside under an overhang. During the late afternoon it's not impossible but it is hard to make out detail watching sports…. Which is really the only thing I watch outside.

Thanks! I might look at the U6.
The area it would be mounted would not get direct sun in the afternoon and evening when I would watch it, but it would probably get slight reflections from it being bright outside.
Sports is also the only thing I would watch on it.
