Walmart one is QLED. Huge advantage if you watch movies with night scenes.

$200 is a disposable tv. Perfectly fine for streaming shows, youtube, etc. I have a basic 55" hisense roku from 2019 still working fine. I do have gaming consoles but I'm not too picky about it being 60hz. Although I wish they'd sell only one tv for around $200, don't really need two. Maybe a target or amazon one in that range pops up

My roku hisense does the same and the image looked deep fried for now reason and it would only fix itself on a system reset
You're likely due for a capacitor replacement.

Doing it yourself is extremely easy, especially if you have the basics of welding or pipe soldering down.

There's tons of YouTube videos on it and getting quality replacement parts that will last 10+ years are about $2-5 each.

Constantly glitching, no volume number, always resets itself a couple times a week. Sometimes it won't turn on... It might be 2 years old. It's just junk. I would never recommend it. Hopefully I find something else today
You're basing your review on this TV by way of one you purchased two years ago?

Are you sure you have a fair assessment here?

Is the built in chromecast good enough or should I purchase the 4k one and hook it up? Or should I go with TCL 4 series from Best Buy since they are also on sale?
One important thing to realize is that Google TV is not a Chromecast.

The TV is running a full Android operating system, which means you can install a ton of apps on it and do things independent of — as well as better than — a typical streaming device connected to the TV.

With that said, there's one thing Roku handles slightly better: Outputting audio to Bluetooth headphones. It requires a compatible device (I use my phone), but being able to control the volume irrespective of the source is huge.

Which browser are you using?

Safari is really bad on most sites, but it loves to crap out on Costco's.
