RTINGS rates the X600 very highly, and it is one of the few portable Bluetooth speakers with LDAC, which allows for much higher bitrate audio.

I also have one. Sound quality is pretty dang impressive. It's well worth $150 imo if you're in the market for a portable speaker.

Yes, Anker's relentless marketing and shilling of this product is obnoxious. Especially on Youtube where nearly every single video you can find is a paid advertisement for this speaker, which was given to the Youtuber for free. But that's just Anker being Anker, it doesn't mean the product is bad. Soundcore is a pretty well respected name in the value-oriented bluetooth speaker category, and I'd say this is a good premium option in their lineup. The sound is very solid with LDAC + a custom EQ. The build quality alone is nicer than any other bluetooth speaker I've come across. Maybe not exactly a slick deal at $150, but you're still very much getting your money's worth IMO.

So marketing nonsense aside, the product itself at $150 is a deal. Perhaps not a true Slick Deal but still a solid deal that for the price will not disappoint.
