You have to use the "Dreamview" function with one of their camera systems. These won't color match the television on their own.

Confused how these change colors
To match on screen colors when watching something does a camera come with this?

I got the first version when they came out and the color mimicking is mediorce at best. I have read the newer version is better. The camera on mine blends in over time, don't notice it anymore.

Does anyone know if I can pair these up with another set of govee bars. I already have 1 set of a prior model and would like to add these as I'd like to have more background lights? 4 light bars behind large tv.

I have the original Dreamview T1 strip lights and camera and then added a pair of light bars and some other light strips, and it worked okay, but not great. I wanted the light bars a little further out, but they might've worked better behind the TV (but since I had the strips back there already, there really wasn't a reason). I'll probably grab these anyhow, since I'm just a big kid.

I have these light bars, and use them with dreamview connected to my T2 system on a 77" oled screen. Yes the camera is a little strange but positioned right you don't really notice it when watching sitting right in front of it. Would rather have no camera, but for those types of systems you have to use an hdmi box, pay double the price and sacrifice picture quality and speeds because most don't support Dolby vision or the full 4k or 120hz or higher

Just for clarification, you're saying we need to purchase a separate camera system for these to color sync with the tv?

I got the original shorter bars with the camera. I'm gonna get these and see if it's possible to set the old ones horizontally so I can put them on the top. I hope that works.
