    Personally, I'm just a weather nerd and like to know the weather at my exact location, and look at past data on Wunderground. But, there are many very helpful uses for it, such as integration with an irrigation system, HVAC system/thermostat, among others.

    This has been great for us. We've had it up since 2020 and never once had any issues. This is a much better option then the LaCrosse or AcuRites we had prior.

    Never really got to test the windspeed accurately has we have it mounted on our deck with this [amazon.com] (was over $20 less when I bought it lol) where the house is blocking some of the wind.

    I have the WS-2902, it is great. The only downside is that they don't work with google home/google assistant anymore. this is new as of the last month or so. Alexa integration is good though.

    Solar panel on the big system power that system, and smaller add-ons have AA batteries.

    Have had this model for 3-4 years. Works great and I have it integrated with my Rachio to monitor how much rain to cut off watering.

    Do you know if you can setup any kind of alerts or notifications, like if it has rained more than an inch in the past 24 hours? Thinking to get this to help figure out when my pool might overflow from the rain. Some kind of smarthings integration may enable me to do that.
