This model was just introduced earlier this year, so inexpensive 3rd party compatible toners for canon's 067H line are not fully available yet. For perspective, previous generation canon color laser printers have 3rd party toner 4 pack sets for $50 to $100 ( 045, 046, 054, 055).
If you expect to use a lot of toner right away, this printer will be expensive. 3rd party toner prices should go down in the not too distant future.

Also, my printer finally died after 14 years yesterday. Noticed that these HP+ printers don't allow third party generic toners. Would this Canon fall under that category of not allowing generic toners? Any specific manufacturers/printers this also applies to?
