For those like me who are looking to get into DD entry level, Micro Center has the Moza R5 on sale. Was debating between this vs. the Fanatec CSL DD bundle but decided to go with the Moza since it's on sale.

At this price I think so. I'm tempted to get this set and just get racing with the kids. The quick releases are nicer with Moza, closer to NRG style QR used in cars. Pedals aren't that great on this one. I'm waiting for an R9 + KS wheel discount, and probably the horribly named CRP pedals just so all of it works with the same tuning software. (Even the CRP pedals aren't the best, for the $$)
IMO Fanatec will have to slash prices again to keep up with the Chinese competition.
Get Fanatec if you care about playing on console. For PC-only, Moza is a great option.
Fanatec stuff takes longer to get and the options are more limited. They don't sell through 3rd parties, so everything takes at least a week between ordering it and it arriving, but it can take over month.
It's sometimes limiting to he in the Fanatec ecosystem as a PC-only sim racer.
I have this set and been using it for about 2 months. The DD is more than enough to do the job. Their software gives you plenty of settings and you can really fine tune your wheels and pedals. The pedals are nothing to write home about. I did get the damper upgrade for the brakes and it improved it quite a bit. I have a KS wheel on order and also a set of simjack pedals (load cell and $250 from Ali) on the way. Again, for the casual racers out there, this bundle will satisfy your need.
I plan on buying Fanatec eventually, they seem to have more options for steering wheels, pedals, etc. And things appear to be cheaper than the moza equivalent anyway.

If you are wanting this for console use like Gran Turismo on PS5, there is supposedly an adapter that you can purchase to have this work on console. probably have to do some reading to see which adapter it is.
