I just recently played this, and it's awesome. Especially if you're a fan of the Dark Soul's type of games. Even though it came out early in the life of the PS5, it's still easily one of the best looking games on the system.

That's because it's the first Souls game. It was released on PS3. There are a lot of improvements over the PS3 version, obviously. But this has been cheaper and will be sub-$20 eventually, like all Souls games have been.

Not necessarily. Those game's msrp was 59.99. $30 might be the new $20.

You say that but they rarely drop price, and they are even hard to find on third party stores.
Dark souls 3 came out in 2016, sekiro in 2018, it's still hard to find those game with DLC for $30. The only game that has been sub 20 is dark souls 2 and that's bc it had the most issues. Dark souls 1 "remaster" (lazy upscale without any improvements) came out in 2018, 2 years prior to 2020s demon souls remake, and that has been $20 only twice in the past year.

Demon's Souls was already $25 last November on Amazon, and I bought it for $25 last month from Gamestop. This is the base game. None of the DLC is expansion content in either the PS3 or PS5 versions. DS3 with all expansion DLC has been $16, DS2 with all DLC has been $16, and DS Remastered has been $15. DS Trilogy has been as low as $40.
Someone said this game rarely goes on sale, and I contradicted that. Everyone knows it will drop in price eventually. The post wasn't intended to rustle the jimmies of all the die hard Souls contrarians looking to give the games a higher value than what stores do when they sell them. I just wanted point out that this has been and will be cheaper for those who were on the fence about getting it. $30 is NOT the new $20, considering all the sub-$20 PS5 games out there.
