The wired version is fine but holy cow.... have u ever tried drawing something over Bluetooth. Its like having phantom limb syndrome, but for drawing. You cant tell where u put the pen down sometimes, cause it wont show up until significantly later.... Anything that requires human input should never use bluetooth.

Are they going to be discontinuing this tablet? I ask because I've been burned by Wacom before. I'm assuming that they're ending driver support within months just like the last time I bought one on sale.

They've got lag too. Bluetooth controllers, audio devices, the lot.

Some notice it, some don't, some devices are better than others as well.

Ponder how high end wireless gaming mice have a dedicated usb dongle in addition to bluetooth backup capability - because the wifi dongle has far better latency and less lag than bluetooth.

I've used a Intuos (now called Intuos Pro) years ago with a 2.4 GHz wireless module installed and the latency wasn't that bad. My experience is the same with wireless mouse. 2.4 GHz >> Bluetooth as long as you don't plug the dongle in a USB 3 port. 😉
Of course, the wired version is the best.

I have a few of these (Small Wired, Medium Wired, Medium Wireless) -- a few thoughts:

For photo editing, go for the Small or Medium.. the Small works best, Medium works nice, Large is generally too big. If you want it for drawing, the Medium/Large work better.

The wireless version can be used Wired or Wireless.. but the wireless connection is terrible. Even 1-2 feet away from my PC it has a notable lag which is much worse than any mouse or keyboard I've ever used.. like a 0.5 second delay on anything you do, which is very annoying.

These don't have the touch capability that some other models do, so you can't really use it as a trackpad.

For photo editing, they're super nice -- same for drawing. They do go on sale regularly though, especially the Pistachio one. Amazon had the "Wireless, Medium, Pistachio" one for $42.99 back in December ($122.99 -$80 coupon = $42.99)

What are the differences between this one and the "One by Wacom Small Graphics Drawing Tablet 8.3 x 5.7 Inches" other than a slight size difference? That one is cheaper... is it not as good, if so why, etc.?

"List price" (a.k.a. "MSRP") is whatever number will make the normal price look like an absurdly good deal.
