No. It would work great for that. I have it. Watch YouTube videos. They help. Clean it good afterwards.

This thing is nearly indestructible. I have left paint in it for several months few times and it still continues to work. I wouldn't use it to paint anything large like rooms though. It's too heavy and time consuming. For any other small painting projects, worth every penny.
