My halo edition sucked. I've been hesitant to spend money on another one since. They need to majorly ramp up quality control.
I've had every elite controller since they came out, including this one listed (but in white) I've had it for around a year and it's held up great. Better than the original elite controller (grips fell off) and the elite controller 2 (bumper stopped working).
Definitely think it's worth $100 if you're in the market.

Same, these are the best yet and imo better than other paddle controllers out there -- the 'other' brand now uses the standard controller and upgrades it, then charges over $250 for it. My son switched from that to this exact elite and hasn't looked back...
Nice weight, controlled vibration (capable of much more subtle tactile feedback), 3 adjustments for trigger pull, etc.
Doesn't suffer from stick drift or grips coming off like prev elites
