MOREFORSUMMER worked for me to take off $100 off the Max v unit by itself or with the auto empty dock.

I bought a brand new one fom Amazon and it works great. Since I was very impressed, I bought a refurbished S7 MaxV based on glowing reviews on these boards for cleaning upstairs. Big mistake. The robot started making weird noises as if the wheels were coming off in less than 30 days. Sent to repair to SquareTrade. They replaced the side brush motor but that did not fix the problem. It is continuing to make weird noises. I sent to SquareTrade again, and this time they sent it back to me without any repair, citing that is passed all their diagnostic tests. I have communication with Roborock stating that something is wrong and it needs to repaired (after sending them video of the robot making noises while it is cleaning).

I bought a refurbished S7 MaxV Ultra and a Q5+ a few weeks ago with the eBay discount, and they were pretty much brand new.

I bought the deal last month for the s7+ with auto empty dock and so far I'm pretty impressed by the vacuuming and mopping and would highly recommend it. I have it cleaning the floors once a week now whereas my roommates and I would never mop the floors before.

Just got that Roborock Q Revo which seems idential to the $1000 ultra one for $700 during prime days waiting patiently for it to get here.

See if the high price is good enough to replace my two ihomes robots.

Q Revo is great and a better buy than the s7 max ultra (the one without camera) and even the s8 pro as it does everything they can do - feature and performance. The MaxV will have better object detection because it has a RGB camera.

If you want a great robot vacuum with RGB camera (and all the features of the s7 max and q revo plus detergent dispenser), get the l10s ultra, which was $650 during prime day but Slickdeals mods wouldn't allow anyone to post it because "the dreametech Amazon store didn't have enough reviews", so people missed it 🙄

Yeah I saw that, but there were a decent amount of reviews saying the dreamtech software is still very wonky.

Yep agreed, nothing beats roborock with software. My friend bought both the revo and l10s and has been comparing it the last couple days. Navigation is much better with the l10s likely mainly with the RGB camera - it avoids the fringes or tassels of rugs where the revo will go over them and sometimes gets stuck

Yeah I posted about its launch a few months back. Hopefully that one will only get better over time. If I dont like the Q Revo or dont think its worth the $700 I paid for it I might just return it and keep waiting and watching both of them to drop down to the more pallet able $500 range. Right now both of my ihomes in total cost me around $300 so its hard to justify the cost of $700.
