The two tower speakers are just slightly different designs, one was a replacement for the other. The R625 has a rear firing bass port while the R-26 has a front firing bass port. The rest of their stats are basically identical. One is not better or worse for a large room. They are both meant for small to medium sized rooms.

The Denon Receiver is $480+ Not $799

Still a nice price/bundle if you are in the market for a $4k setup.

I bought a similar package 4 years ago for the same price. But this one comes with a second sub!

You should always be running two subs if you can afford it. It will make getting your spikes and dips in the bass region much smoother across the listening space.

For about $50 more, I would choose R625FA bundle

Looks like the difference is the two floorstanding speakers, I assume they're better? Smilie

Yes, R625FA are better for larger room and they have crisper sound as well as low distortion at hight volume compared to R-26FA

A 5.2.2 Atmos setup might be a bit overkill in a guest bedroom, but your guest won't be disappointed.

It's not weird, two subs helps fill out the room more. There can be an issue where the subs fight each other due to being off phase, depending where you stand. Kinda how noise canceling works, just,, a lot bigger. Normally you place them in strategic places around the room (not just evenly in the front) and test them out, adjusting the phase switch and such. Many subs either come with, or have an option of, using a wireless connection to make this easier. Remember, lower frequencies like under 200 hz, you loose the ability to locate where the noise is coming from. So it don't really matter where they are as far as that's concerned. As far as this set, Klipsch is widely known to be too bright on the high end. This can make them sound hard to listen to for long periods at high levels. The denon receiver is probably junk. It's all and all probably good for the price. It depends what you want. If you want something to brag to a bunch of "hi fi nerds" this will get you laughed out of the room. But if you want "hi fi" your talking a lot more money and treating you room. If you want something that's better then your neighbors, this will probably do it. Jesus I drank too much coffee.
