Search "warehouse b" on here, you'll see about 20 deals all posted by staff. If you read the comments many SD users that have purchased received a defective product and had to return.

I bought the Rockbox XL on the last warehouse B deal. I received my order in about 7 days, and the unit looked new. I would order from wB again, if anyone is concerned about this supplier being legit.

Floatable?? The USB ports are open so water will definitely enter through those ports

The "open" USB ports you refer to are shown in the pic with a rubber/plastic door attached. I'd imagine the ports float above the water and the closed door panel prevents any water from entering…

Wonder why this deal is more popular than the AL Rockbox. Same price, think the Rockbox has more watts, and better reviews when I checked Amazon.

Most also received excellent condition products as well. I would say the defective ones are for minority for sure.

i've owned this for ~4 years now. not as loud as i had hoped, but i love it. i take it on canoe trips and just chuck it in the water next to us (yes the waterproofing works well). it has also taken a beating and held up very well. i would not recommend it to use as a party speaker or something you are trying to blast music to lots of people, but for a 5-20 person hang out in a 30-ft radius this will do well. sound quality is decent (it isn't Bose), but lacks some bass. battery life does fine for me... i don't mind keeping things charged though, where i know some neglect plugging in. one of my fav features is that you can charge devices from it when you're on the go.

Agreed. I bought 2, a Rockbox and Rockbox XL. One was factory refurb and looked perfect. The "grade b" had a slightly bent plug on the wall adapter, and the cord was twist-tied. Unit itself still looked perfect. Will be thoroughly testing this weekend but on quick check, all functions work on both.

Yes. It is very legitimate with great customer service. I had issues with my man speakers I bought from them, and they resolved it in no time. Very pleased 😀
