Wow this is actually a deal. This has the punchy 11th gen i7 mobile CPU with the full 96 EU Xe graphics. Would be a great HTPC / Living room PC.

32GB ram is like $50 and 2TB ssd's are under $100.

Like tubodog said, you can pick up 32GB of RAM for $50 and there is a "Prime Day" deal on Samsung 980 Pro 1TB nvme drives for $50. That is a full i7 NUC for $450. Seems pretty slick to me.

It makes me sad that Intel is doing so badly that they are no longer going to make the NUC. Frown

Wish this was at least 12th gen as the performance is much better. I think i rather get a Beelink SER6 Mini with ryzen 7735hs and 32gb ram for under $500

To me it seems less like they're doing bad, and more that mini pc's have become super easy to mfr by others doing it a lot cheaper. I doubt they're all on par with Intel quality, but enough to take marketshare away and make it less profitable for intel to the point they pulled out.

The Beelink S12 Pro N100 will be more than enough for most HTPC use cases, comes with ram/SSD/windows 11, and costs half the price.

Have you looked at the markets and the news lately? Intel is in a really really bad place financially right now. I hope they can fix it but this is as bad off as they have ever been.

Still lots of stock of gen 11, 12 and 13

The 11th gen has an issue with virtualization and passthough. 12th gen does not.
There's some good deals now on gen 12 nucs as well.
