The tall container with the narrow base and short blade length is the reason given by many for choosing the 5200. However this container may be used with the Next Generation "G" series which was designed to address the shortcomings of the old 5200 motor base by improving the cooling, reducing thermal shut down, reducing noise, improving user interface and giving it a better motor. Vitamix may occasionally provide the tall container with the 7500 or another motor base upon request. Or one can sell the low container and purchase the desired container.
