I was pretty disappointed. I thought it was a cool concept, the writing was solid, the voice acting was good, but the actual gameplay was a little boring.

FWIW, I liked them both as well. Control's vibe and story were great and this one had great gameplay and the overall story while not as deep, was good enough to make me truly enjoy the game. Ohh and loved thr voice acting and overall dynamic of the 2 main characters.

Loved this game, it was free with the $9.99 monthly PC Game Pass. One of the best games I played this year.

Absolutely loved this game. It's worth playing for sure and received a 10/10 review from IGN. Anyways, great replay value with the PvP even after you beat the campaign. You invade other players campaigns and hunt them down, can get really creative with your play style and mix it up with different abilities and weapons to keep it fresh.

Unfortunately that won't be long as the game gets old somewhat quickly. $15 is a good price but more than I'd be willing to spend on it.

I don't care what anybody says. I've played this game on gamepass and it is pretty damn dreat. Well worth this price. I've been gaming for 45 years and this one is a gem Smilie

I actually just completed the loop yesterday. I picked this up a couple weeks back looking for a FPS that I wouldn't fry my brain playing online and wouldn't take a million hours to beat (my attention span sucks).

I genuinely enjoyed this game and especially at $15. I enjoyed the game play quite a bit. There are unique abilities that you can pick up and I found what I liked and honestly I loved the Nexus slab. Not sure I'll really see something like that again.

I haven't had game pass so I haven't been able to play online to "protect the loop," but I'm going to get a month so I can try it this weekend. To protect the loop you essentially invade another players game.

Super unique and it scratches the right itch if you've got the itch
