I considered getting both and trying them out before deciding. Unfortunately Amazon fine print shows can only return an unopened box unless it's doa. I cancelled the swift since this deal shows more productivity leaning laptop deals can meet or exceed the swift x.
I don't see the fine print, I bought it and it shows sold my Amazon not this Other seller? Is there really a restocking fee?

I owned this laptop for about two weeks…I don't have hard numbers to quote, but battery life was perfectly fine. It's certainly no MacBook Air, but I don't think most people would find it inadequate. Had no trouble keeping me on for a full day's worth of productivity tasks/browsing. I also owned the AmD version of this laptop and I think that one is the better machine with the dGPU and noticeably better keyboard/trackpad. Screen is better on this one though, although it's a tiny bit smaller.

That's typical Lenovo, also after a year or so, the battery will show accelerated signs of wear. The notorious power button will wear off as well rendering it functional-less
So the power button will become non-functional?
This dea seems pretty good to me other than what you're saying about the power button. Would you mind explaining a little more clearly what the power button issue is?

The AMD version with the 3050 gpu went on sale shortly after I purchased this one…so I got that one to try it out. I preferred the screen on intel version, it was a little sharper and brighter….but it has flat keys with mushy feedback. The AMD has slightly scalloped keys so (this might be subjective) it felt easier to find keys and the feedback was better when typing. Trackpad on the AMD is also .5" longer on the diagonal…not a huge increase but it's noticeable. The biggest factor though is the 3050 dGPU. It's severely Tdp limited (I think 40 watts?), but it's still a massive step up from an iGPU. AMD's iGPU is also better than intel Iris afaik. Imo the amd version was the perfect combination of size and power without compromising too much in any one department…worked great for casual gaming with the 3050 but still extremely portable.

I actually ended up returning the AMD version as well because I got a killer deal on a legion 5i pro….I really dislike how big it is, but I use it as more of a desktop replacement so the power is nice to have. I'd purchase the AMD slim 7 pro again in a heartbeat though if I needed something portable. 14" (14.5" for the AMd) is really just the perfect size (for me).
