Are those hydro flask branded? I think Costco carries a "thermo flask" brand.

I bought the hydro flask yesterday. I always seen these around and the reviews are quite solid. I was playing tennis in 90 degree weather with real feel over 100 degrees. My friend was using a hydro flask and told me that it keeps the water cold. I was using 2 regular thermos tritan water bottles with the flip lids with 2 ice packs in a small coleman soft pouch cooler. Maybe I can ditch carrying the coleman cooler and 2 ice packs now. Maybe I will continue to use the coleman cooler and use the hydro flask if it keeps it extra cold. I am a fan of the Nalgene and Thermos Tritan water bottles but I wanted to see what this Hydro Flask insulated water bottles are like.

Have seen two packs at Costco for ~26 or ~20 on sale if anyone has costco and wants to go that route, this is still a decent price for a nice thermos

Edit: in store, ymmv, call your local Costco to ask if they stock them before making a trip as I don't see them online

Which isn't hydro flask or Costco?

Costco doesn't carry hydro flask.

These are extremely well insulated bottles but get lower reviews than say yeti on durability. Been using them for years. Thanks.

I would have gotten it last week but I didn't want to spend +$49 for the free shipping. Shipping was like $9 from Dick's. They also didn't have the standard mouth cap on sale which I would prefer over the wide mouth cap or the flex sip caps that I believe are more for coffee. I can even fit ice cubs into the Hydro Flask standard mouth cap. I can't fit ice cubs into my Nalgene with standard cap. I prefer the 18-21 ounce models as they are the right size for me to carry around the gym or carry on a bike. I hear that these insulation bottles are heavier than regular bottles so I definitely didn't want to go bigger.

I just received my bottle today. I put some ice and water in it and put it in the fridge. I am gonna try it out later and see how long it keeps the water cold for. It seems like high quality. Update: The water was definitely cold and remained ice cold for a long time. Brain freeze.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank Bflo23

I ordered a generic silicone 2 pack water bottle boot protector that has good reviews. The official hydro flask boot protector costs like $8 for one so I ordered a generic version that was a 2 pack for like $6. If you want to protect the bottle from drops, dents, scratches, give it some grip and make it quieter, I think the silicone boots are a good idea.

It was $12 last week for Dick's, picked a bunch up last week and they hold up well. Especially the 40 oz one.

Gemco, now that's a name I haven't heard in a very long time. I think they went belly up in the 80s.

I expect some downvotes, but if you're in IT you can get one of these for free from a company called Rhombus, they sell cameras/software, you have to sit through a webinar. I did it years ago and I still use it everyday, took about 6 weeks for delivery though. You can google whatever variation of words to find it. Just FYI!
