Spend $15+ on Starbucks using Venmo get $5 Venmo rewards YMMV
Got an email with subject "Earn $5 on your Starbucks run"
Use your Starbucks app and pay or reload $15+ using Venmo and get $5 back in Venmo. You must receive the promo email or see the deal through your Venmo to be eligible.

¹Eligible Participant: Open only to individuals who (1) have an existing U.S. Venmo account ("Valid Account"), (2) are residents of any one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, (3) are eighteen (18) years of age or older; and (4) receive an email or view an in app banner from Venmo inviting participation in the offer ("Invitation")(eligibility for/those who receive the Rewards will be determined solely by Venmo) ("Eligible Participant").
Offer Period: Starts July 12, 2023, at 12:00:00 a.m. PT., and ends on July 21, 2023, at 11:59:59 p.m. PT ("Offer Period").
How it Works: An Eligible Participant must successfully complete the following to qualify for a Reward (defined below):
Spend or load at least $15 USD or more on the Starbucks app using Venmo as the sole payment method, during the Offer Period ("Qualifying Transactions").
Once the Qualifying Transaction has been completed and verified by Venmo, Eligible Participants will earn $5 USD ("Reward"). The Reward will be added to your Venmo account balance within seven (7) days after the Qualifying Transactions are completed and verified by Venmo but may be available sooner. There are only 90,000 Rewards available during the Offer Period; Rewards will no longer be available once the limit is reached. There is a limit of one (1) Reward (max $5 USD) per Valid Account.

what specific steps are we to try in venmo app? when I go to Settings ==> scan an offer ==> scan code ==> both QR codes in your images yield 'unrecognizable QR code error'

Venmo link for reference only. In order to redeem the offer, you will need go through the actual link provided in the email that will take you straight to the Starbucks app (if you have it) or take you to app store/google store to download the app. Add Venmo as your payment method in Starbucks app and then just reload your gift card or make a purchase of $15 or more using Venmo and you will get $5 back. Offer ends July 21st or when 90,000 rewards are claimed.

I got the email about it the other day. Terms say you must receive the email or see the banner in the app, also says 90,000 redemptions max.
I just did it a few minutes ago and nothing yet. Wondering if it's already reached the 90,000 max redemption number.
