what about the normal manufacturer warranty?
does it not apply to new purchases on woot (which is basically amazon now)?
or is this a gimmick to push users into buying the Optional Asurion Protection Plan?

Last time I bought one of these from Woot! the pans were all worn from shipping and the nonstick coating had rubbed off. Ninja did send me out new ones but it took weeks to get them.

Same! Looking for the thermometer probe on the box and flipped it over and saw model was IG601 instead of IG651.
Did you reach out to them already?

Update. They won't supply the IG651 and will take a full refund or partial refund $40 for the inconvenience. $100 for a IG601? Eh

I was supposed to get delivery today, and instead got the email they are sending me a lesser item and thinking a partial refund for said item which doesnt have a thermometer will be ok.
Its not, This sucks.
Also justy wanted to mention Woot's shipping which is hyped as being free since I have Prime, is terrible and slow.
I got the last refrub Ninja from Buydig in like 2 days. This thing has taken forever to ship and receive.

I got the IG600 instead and they gave me a $45 refund. I honestly wouldn't have noticed if they didn't automatically refunded me. I swore I ordered the model with a probe and now it all makes sense. I am disappointed with their business decision to do that without consulting the customer. I am however going to keep it. The alternative is too much work and hassle. I won't be buying any tech or appliances from woot again though.

After the $45 refund comes out to about $88 plus sales tax. The only different I can find between the units is the thermometer and smart cook system.

I've been using the IG651 I got for $150 from Amazon and the smart cook system I've found to be off a bit. Testing with my thermopen the Ninja thermometer is about 4-6 degrees off. So if you are making steak for example pick one notch lower than you want for doneness.

I might not used it anymore anyways so might return the Amazon one and keep the woot.
