There's a review of the back opened up and it's three lines of exposed copper. No insulation on the hot or neutral. Huge hazard should it become compressed somehow and energizes the metal casing just from a shock stand point. Not to mention arcing (fire) hazard from the non insulated wires.
In case anyone didnt see this picture. Bare rails close together, I wouldnt touch this.
So tempted, but I'm unable to find any specification of the clamping voltage for these, which is an important metric of the quality of the protector.
It only has the joules rating which is unfortunately pretty low (840j), so I wouldn't risk an expensive equipment e.g. a TV on this.
Looked through all previous threads and reviews/ QnA - anyone know what the clamping voltage is?

For ~$20, the best ones I've found so far are these amazon ones (only the 12-outlet versions - not the 8-outlet)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GPRSP5R
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GPF72BZ
These have been well documented to be 330-400-400 clamping voltage, 4320 joules; and come on sale periodically for ~15$
On paper the best rating we can get (only short of the TrippLite Isobars which go for $50+).

The above are rebrands of the APC

What do you think of the Anker Surge Protector (2100J) on sale for $23 that has 18-month warranty and lifetime $200,000 connected equipment warranty?

While I agree, the ones you linked are not the same form factor or use case.
The ones in this thread are excellent to run along a wall to provide power along a workbench or back of a desk.

Weird the 12 outlet is longer than the 16 by a couple inches.

This is a good price for what it is even if it didn't have any surge ability or even if not effective. Perfect for the back of a work bench in a garage or shop.

Metal casing must be grounded, so instant breaker trip and not much else.

If the breaker didn't fail. Unlikely, but...
