RX6600 goes about $170 used on ebay. Comes with starfield which I was going to buy anyways which is $69.99 and won't go down for a while after release so basically RX6600 for a $100 I say is worth it depending on what you need it for.
The Arc A750 on sale is the best value in terms of features and performance at $200ish. However if you plan to buy Starfield at MSRP then obviously that makes this hard to beat.
TU & Rep'd! Nice find 😊 I would so jump on this, and offer to sell my copy of Starfield to someone if it weren't for the random high power spikes of the 6600… I only have a 450w gpu and I'm afraid of the 249w spikes 😞

Are you sure you can sell the give to someone? When I redeemed RE4 on the last 6600 deal it made me basically activate it on the spot. Maybe there is a way around it, but I didn't check. They DO NOT just give you a code to plug into steam anymore.

I just bought a used RX 6600 from eBay yesterday for $125. I definitely would have bought this instead for the starfield game. I'm also going to attempt to run the xfx rx6600 I bought on the 300w power supply that in my Lenovo thinkcentre. I will be undervolting it though. I can't think of a single thing that can go wrong.

Check out the detailed notes on their testing methodology. In short, it was a manufactured stress test on Furmark. For the average buyer of this tier of GPU, the relevant numbers are things like idle (3w), gaming (120w), etc. TPU and many others noted that from previous gen GPUs, the RX 6600 was one of the most efficient. In other words, unless you're going out of your way to cause a power spike, this shouldn't be a concern.
Additionally, I'd add that a lot of people on here, Reddit, etc have upgraded a lot of cheap prebuilt desktops with the RX 6600 and reported no issues with the PSU. Most commonly, these were slotted into the ultra low budget HP Pavilion gaming desktops that frequently had a 400w cheap PSU and RX 5500 or GTX 1650 Super.
In my own experience on the AMD side, I've had an RX 5500 OEM (pulled from an HP by seller) and an Asus RX 5700 XT in my custom desktops. The RX 5500 maxed out at about 110w and the RX 5700 XT at 200w. Both were at stock, maxed out in demanding new games. After the first two weeks of owning both, I've since had them undervolted and power limited (-15%). Repeating the same benchmarks, the RX 5500 capped out at ~93w and the Rx 5700 XT at ~160w with a 2-5% fps loss.

With my short time with the card, I could not even get Hogwarts Legacy to run in a way anybody would find acceptable, I had to go to mod nexus and use 2 different mods just to get it running at 1080p with a very unstable framerate. There is no way in hell Starfield will be optimized well, and that game is far more demanding. 8 gigs of vram just doesnt cut it when devs are lazy.
Hell, my 7600 is about 30% faster and can barely handle Hogwarts. I highly recommend anybody looking to play modern games spend a little more for a card with 10+ gigs of vram.

Edit: that spike was only in Furmark, and only a single spike.
