I have edited the post to clarify that shipping is free. Home Depot's website currently shows that there are over 2,200 available.

Is it really worth it to spend more $$ for "better" blades? Meaning, you can get cheap blades on Amazon etc, and no they don't last as long as more expensive blades but how much longer do more expensive blades really last

Milwaukee blades performed poorly in Project Farm testing. Have they since improved?

I believe that in the video that you are referring to he tested some old Chinese made blade, not these.

I guess I stand corrected, unless he has other oscillating blade videos that I am recollecting.

Irregardless though, the blade he tested in THAT video is not the same as the blades that are available in this deal. The included carbide one really sets this deal apart, that's a $20 blade if purchased individually.

He was testing the Ezarc CARBIDE blades in the video, not the cheap titanium ones found at Walmart. That video is fairly meaningless in regards to this deal because he is not testing these blades.

I go these a while back... The titanium enhanced blades were terrible. Didn't last though 2 pieces of aluminum trim I was cutting

You should really be jumping up to carbide blades if you're cutting anything other than wood.

But if you must use the lower end blades, be sure to not let the blade overheat and, if possible, keep moving to different parts of the blade so the same few teeth don't take all the abuse. It doesn't matter how good the blade is, if you abuse it, it'll dull quickly.

Do you have any recommendations for carbide blades and what they should cost? I've almost stopped using my multi tool because I haven't found blades that are worth a damn. I'm a tradesman and admittedly will push through when I should practice patience and kill a blade that way. I love the utility of the tool but I've got dozens of scrapers at this point. I cut up a Starrett hacksaw blade and welded it to some dull blades, a couple lasted pretty well but I must have overheated a couple and jacked the hardness. Side note, does anyone use their variable speed multi past about 25%? I think slowing down the vibe would help keep blades alive longer. It's almost like blade Manufacturers are mobile phone makers. 🤔

The tool is just a bad design in regards to blade longevity because it concentrates all the cutting and the heat in such a small area. I currently have Diablo carbides in my kit (probably because they were on sale) and they work fine, but I'm not sure if any carbide blades are really any better than any other carbide blades as I rarely use my multitools to cut anything anymore due to excessive blade costs. They're great scrapers and detail sanders though!

I always look for alternatives before making a cut with an osciallting tool. Japanese style pull saws and compact hacksaws often make great hand powered substitutes, otherwise I have a variety of powered saws to try to tackle the job and only pull out the oscillating cutter if nothing else will fit.
