This is a solid deal. I've had one for about a year and never had issues (knock on wood).

I own two of these for my dj library and I'm pleased with their performance, but I'm scared of them failing. I always backup the production drive, but I need to find something else because of their failure rate.

Bought one at the 140 price and used for PS4 game storage. Lost everything on it after not much use. Blamed it on a cheap USB cable that I was using and am trying again with it.

Only the 4TB Extreme is affected, although the 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB Extreme Pro are affected.

Yikes! I did look at a number of user reviews, and lots ofpeople complaining about this drive on B&H website. Drive crashes, and all types of problems. At least do read the reviews, and then decide if this drive is for you. I went to buy but on reviewing the user reviews decided to pass.
