Update: just want to leave an update in case anyone sees this in the future. I tried to call the company as soon as I noticed the 6 separate pending charge but they were closed for the weekend. I called the following week and someone answered right away. Quite refreshing actually because I'm use to the run around with voice prompts or foreign call centers. Anyway, the guy that answered was really cool and found my order and assured me that it was only one order that went through and that everything was legit. He couldn't tell me why there were 6 pending charges though. Couple days later the pending charges dropped off and I received the knife about a week after I ordered. I'll chalk it to up a fluke in their system. Just want to make sure everyone knows that this is a legit company.
Also looks like a steel.

And yes, I know the heat treatment is the most important factor anyhow.

We knife company (Civivi) does an excellent job with HRC on all of their steels. It is a quality company.
I have purchased tons of times from Atlantic knife and they are a reputable dealer. You just have bad luck.
