Scooter has some issue and it won't fold. I reached out to EverCross and they asekd me to send video of problem. After I sent them, they send me some more videos on how to fold it.
I would give 1 try and if it doesn't work, I would return to Walmart.
I tried scooter and it worked fine. I am about 170 lb.
There is one issue I see with breaking. When I break, it is a sudden and you need to get used to how it works otherwise you would fall to ground at the speed of 10MPH which would be horrible I guess. !!
May want to read the 1-star reviews there, too: https://www.amazon.com/product-re...filter-bar

but i do agree, if you get one summer out of it, yay. it's likely to get stolen anyway, which is the main reason i don't want to spend more than $250 on a scooter.

This is an interesting design. Reminds me alot of the Uscooters booster sport I have - only an ebrake and a stomp brake, lightweight, similar folding mechanism.
Alot of the reviews are very poor, including a dude who claims the throttle stuck became stuck on while driving and caused a crash.
Don't know if I'd bite even at this price.
Get a load of this review, lol!
"This is a garbage. Even before first ride, when I put the power on, it got fire from panel and smokes came out. And that is it, we are done!! Very very very poor response. I contacted them so many time, replies come after months. Walmart should not put these scooters on their platform and they should throughly examine/interview seller for their after sales service quality."
Don't trust your life to a $180 scooter that goes 15mph.

I thought I must not understand at first, but really it's not a complex design… I just had to lift the lock with all my strength put a ton of force on the latch (almost all my weight) to release it the first time. It's slowly getting a little easier with use… still difficult though. Even the little hook and loop used to attach the handle to the rear fender is tight and sometimes you'd really got to work it for a while to free it.
Btw, I got my D18W on clearance at Walmart, I was just walking the Isles and I saw it laying on the floor next to the bikes. No shelf, no label, no price, but I brought it up to the register and it rang up as $150+ tax, so I bought it immediately. If they had two I would have bought my wife one also, it's perfect for folding into a car trunk to go for a park or city ride, and mine has just enough range for an errand to the Grocery and back (with hills)! Honestly, the price to performance of that deal has spoiled me against other scooters, I could spend $550 more to get just 2mph faster top speed and maybe 8 more "miles," which in my hilly town would be more like 2-3 miles 😂
