Deal HistoryÂ

There has been a few of these lately Amazon has been defaulting to a higher priced one. Still take the deal, always run out of these as people in my family "borrow" them.
You wont get the fastest charging speeds to modern USB-C phones using these since you need USB-C to USB-C for that.
My main use for these types of cables is connecting to Android Auto. Most cars with wired connections still have USB-A in the car.
That being said, since youre not going for the charging speed or even data speed, theres no need for top of the line cables. Since you leave and enter a car often, the cables you buy WILL wear out the quickest regardless of brand. I have gone through four cables in the 3.5 years in my current car (OEM samsung, Dynex/BestBuy, monoprice, and an OEM LG). I just accept that I need a constantly supply of new cables.
I get the dynex ones when they are cheap ($2 each?) because they are short enough to not clutter my dash and I can get them anywhere. But otherwise, theres TONS of these on sale on Amazon for peanuts...again, no need for premium stuff.

They feel heavy-duty and are a very tight fit in the USB-C port, which means that bumps in the road or just using the phone and moving it a bit doesn't make it disconnect from AA.

Very helpful! And not to dog on these cables (because Anker is a good brand) but Dynex cables are surprisingly durable for the money. I still have some from lightning ones from late 2019 that I still use periodically.
bought these in the past. my only issue is the metal seems to lose contact/connection where it either doesn't charge at all or charges very slowly. It seems like the metal or connectors deform easily.
disposable at these prices. but don't last like the original OEM stuff.. on daily usage.
