230 lb capacity? who approved this spec? or how did they come up with this number? what their pict shown is like 5 lbs of dish and cups on top

I have no idea how to verify, but the description mentions 230-lbs. (That is a LOT of weight, for sure.) Peace Reviewers claim it's a nice strong shelf.

its nice if its true. i can rest my 65" tv on it and call it a day. same price on shopabunda too. thats after their 15% markup like they promise.

Since it is stainless steel, if the two sides (triangle shaped) are thick enough, it is possible to withhold 230lb. However, the screws that holds the shelf has to be thick enough to withhold that weight too, prob not at 230lb but need to be quite significant.
