If you were to DIY, you get way more performance with the RX 6600 and get a free copy of Starfield. Skip the 4100 and look for a 5500 deal that was $80 not too long ago or find a used 3600.

Prior to this thread, i was seeing some mini-PCs and barebones, thinking how you can get a small setup for under $400 (so for non-gaming, this woot deal isn't the route). For gaming, i'll admit, i am pretty stuck up (not acknowledging the 1660 super) but with GPU prices dropping, you can score a more worthwhile GPU that's much more meaningful years to come. Also, this PC (while i don't know the individual parts warranty) Woot only warrants it for 90 days.
Edit: okay, i see the 3100 isn't a slouch. Still, the bottom line of $500+ for me is when you start to get serious with a computer purchase, and something like the 3100 is the entry level of a chip a couple generations ago. Maybe i'm out of touch?
That being said, yes - may want to see if you can spend a little more if looking for upgrading this because the cpu is pretty barebones - but if wanting a budget rig for 2-4 years, think you can play a good bit on it.
My oldest Ryzen is a 4th gen and if I had this box it would've been retired last year. Even for a gamer there are so many Ryzen be 5600g boxes for around $400 that with a GPU upgrade would cost less than this if you even need that GPU upgrade.
My garage computer has a better CPU than this. My outdoor pool computer could even give this a run for the money.
Do you have a link for this? I can't find it. I might missed out since this was over 2 weeks ago

Search "5700g" and look for HP Victus 15L.
