Bought 16 of these last year. The ones that get the most sunlight and water are over 6 ft, closer to 7 ft tall already. I have a couple stragglers, but overall I am very happy with them. Last year they looked like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree, but they really filled out this year.

These are so easy to root yourself and grow that amount of money in 6 months. If you don't have a tree to take some clippings from you can ask a neighbor of find one in a park, etc. I made a video on it recently. https://youtu.be/9qrzHV7ikOc

I purchased these in late April, they came packaged wonderfully and they are all still living and doing well, I live in Zone 5b.
Depending on how close you plant them will also decide the max growth height. 5 feet apart the max will be 20-25 foot tall, 8 feet apart max will be 25-30, 10 feet apart max will be 30-40 foot tall yada yada so and so forth.

"require [only] 4-6 hours of direct sunlight" This can be a problem if you're planting along a solid fence.

what state do you live in? My zone is 8b (in Texas). Wonder if they survive summer heat

Home Depot has a 10 pack of these for $202 and free delivery. So this is a pretty decent deal.

I'm in zone 7a close to the shoreline, and have irrigation. Even still, those couple of stragglers looked quite brown that first year, though they are rebounding a bit this year. I think youd need to irrigate to give them a chance, at least that first year before they develop good roots.

I planted 8 of these last year, I drowned them with my irrigation system. Now that I shut it off, they seem to be doing a lot better.

Yes. They were 2 ft when they arrived. Only a couple with the absolute best sun and water are now poking above the 6ft fence theyre planted along. But yes, they grew incredibly fast. One the lower end, I'd say even the slowest growing ones are still over 3 ft, probably 3.5 ft. Overall, they were pretty slow to grow last summer, but this year theyre really coming along.
