This isn't much of a deal, but like the hole saw / recip saw deal at Home Depot, I do find some value in simply having that drill / driver bit that's only good for one use on hand, as opposed to buying a master set of carbide / cobalt / diamond-coated whatevers at full price and never using most of the sizes.
Of course, carrying this ridiculous case o'everything around seems like a negative.

My only complaint about this set is the hex bits are hard to remove from the casing. Sometimes I need pliers to get a bit out

I have Milwaukee cases of bits and such like this, and they are also a PITA to get the bits out of, take a small heat gun to the inside briefly and wiggle the bits with pliers and they'll loosen up 👍
You got to be ready to pounce when they start to mark that stuff down. Quantities will dwindle fast depending on the traffic of your store. One I pass by is a slower store and I can wait usually for a second mark down before things like that disappear.
I mainly still use my DeWalt bits; as I'm usually working with metal. I've got all kinds of other sets handed down for all the various stuff.
But it's nice to have most of it in one tidy box for when I need to take stuff somewhere else to work on a project.

Seriousy, just buy the IKEA tool kit and be happy with it.
