How to revert it then?
It's easier to do this at Costco as it was a painelss experience for me.
Mike Sievert, are you listening?
How to revert it then?
I am not sure I need a new phone right now. Also we got used to Samsung phones. Is there a chance a similar deal will be announced later for a decent Samsung phone?
TIA.
Has anyone tried doing this in Costco store and got paperwork for the rebate?
He then asked me if I was a Costco member I told him no but my cousin is a member and that seem to be ok enough to continue with the shipping and billing which we did. I asked him anything to fill out to get the $75 costxo card he says no just 90 days to process. I got the DocuSign email and sign it and he told me that is it. My phone will shop in two days or so. I ask how about the trade in phone he said I can just take it to the store and they will shop it. But I probably will just get a print out label online through my account because I done that in the past for the last trade in.
I highly recommend just going to the store and take the device u want to trade in with the correct imei. Actually take few used phone in case system don't clear the imei. Save yourself an extra trip.
He auto waived the $35 fee. Just paid the $47 tax for the phone right there.
I asked he done few of these already and he said yes so that seems to help if the rep done it already.
Summary:
Don't need to be a Costco member
Have a cleared imei trade in phone
Avoid $35 fee
Get a $75 Costco card which fingers cross in that one bcuZ never done it through Costco but if I get it that is just a added bonus to this trade in
Got rid of one of my old phone
Heck of a deal.
Might trade in my last old phone for another line so all my old phkne will be upgraddd to 5g now.

How long is the return window?
Anyone went through this return and how does EIP work?

Also, I suggest shipping out the phone in a box, a smallish amazon box if you have one laying around.
In the past, Costco used to give out padded envelopes but I don't think they do that anymore.
I suggest first trying at a local tmobile store. It has been mentioned that tmobile reps don't like taking in trade in devices since they can get dinged if something goes wrong with the trade in. worth a try.

So you don't have to have costco membership but someone in your address must have costco membership to qualify for the cash card rebate.
The screen is bright, the phone is light (maybe half the weight of the A32). Seems great for a backup phone. By the way, I traded in a perfectly working LG G6.
