Just leaving this comment here for the benefit of others - This is the Edge (Mediatek processor) and not the Edge + with the Snapdragon processor.

Call 833-428-1765 for Costco TMobile and you don't even have to go to the store at all. I did this deal on Sunday.

the resell price for this is only $50. not worth signing up 2 year contract and blocking future promo for 2 years with this. it is a cheap basic phone with very low storage space
This same brand new unlocked 256 GB is sold for $200 by many seller incluging morotola amazon bestbuy and etc.
can you point to 1 seller that has this for $200?

it was $200 few days ago. now $250 but it is the 256gb gb version unlocked, no eip contract for 2 year required like tmobile.
so if the 256gb unlocked brand new no 2 year eip contract is only $250, you can do the math on the tmobile 128gb gb version that requires 2 year eip contract. it comes to only around $50.

If you do the math free < $250? There are many of us that have plans that are grandfathered and 2 years is not even an issue.

Try to get the deal by calling TMobile Costco line.
They asked me the trade in phone IMEI and to see if it is qualified trade in.

Somehow they says there system does not show if the IMEI are blocked. That may be risk not able to get the credit

Yes, it has been discussed that when you call costco, the reps will tell you about the device having to be unblocked.

Easier to go to a physical costco to do the deal. Just be sure your costco has a T-Mobile kiosk

That's not right, they have to check if Device has been report lost and stolen, it won't eligible for trade in, that's Primary reason over the phone and in store need to check device IMEI/MEID.

He asked if he had to bring the sim for the line being upgraded.

But yes, you should take the trade in device for an easy transaction.

After you Unlock the bootloader

1. Download rom file from lolinet
https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmw.../official/(make sure the model is right !!! )
2. Unzip boot.img from rom file
3. Patch the boot.img using magisk (https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases)
4. Copy patched file img to same folder of adb tools.
5. Reboot device into BootLoader using "adb reboot bootloader"
6. flash patched img using "fastboot flash boot patched.img" (if doesn't work using fastboot getvar current-slot to get active slot, than fastboot flash boot_X(X mean A or B) patched.img

Please proceed with caution, I am not responsible for any risk of damage.
Thanks. Yes, those are the instructions I found on XDA as well. I am really surprised that there are NO official XDA threads for Moto Edge 2022. Strange!

Wow, your math is something else! Just because 256 GB is selling for $250, 128 GB with EIP should be $50. Very nice! Just pass whatever you are smoking! lmao

Of course, you cannot provide any links for $50 as your projection of what the *real* price should be is NOT how the real world economy works. lol

Thank you. This site was not working for me yesterday where it wasn't loading up. However, it worked this morning and got the return label. I was told by T-force that I can submit trade-in at any retail store to complete the process as well. But, I'm not sure if it ruins the Costco $75 promotion in anyway.

The only question now is, how am I supposed to receive a costco shop card for $75 when the representative didn't even ask for costco membership number when placing the order? They only asked for whether I'm a costco member or not and I said Yes. Do I have to submit any promotion rebate submission to avail that $75 gift card?

so nothing for $200. got it.

so i cannot buy this for $50 from a reseller as u said

so i cannot buy this for $200 from a retailer as u said

o and by the way...lowest price for this on amazon was 250. never 200 as u said

sounds like most of what u said is incorrect.

bummer. i would have liked to buy one .
especially for $50

How often do these any device, any condition deals happen?

Feel like they are far and few between, use iPhone but wouldn't mind a decent backup on 3 lines I don't typically use. I'm sure they aren't handing out iPhones or flags to magenta plans anytime soon.
