I take this to mean you think there will be better deals during black friday?

Went to Guitar Center to check these out as others have suggested in prior threads and I didn't like the feel for the Rolands - the "return" of the key just feels to slow to my liking. I think this is one of the models people had similar complaints about particularly when it comes to trills and playing keys repetitiously fast. I liked the feel of the Yamahas (including the P45) more as it felt more natural to me (I grew up taking piano lessons but still suck... this is for our daughter btw hahaha).

I still need to try Korg and Kawai - anyone have comparative input on those as far as "return" and feel of the keys? I would imagine Kawai to be extremely good.

Unfortunately, looks like they just raised the price this morning to match Amazon after the mail-in-rebate Mad. B&H playing dirty there. It was live yesterday evening at 649.99 when I saw it pre-rebate.

Adorama haș been dropping it to $560-ish over the past month without rebate but just for a few days then back to normal price.

No one knows for sure, but I'd really wait given the recent dips.

Yes I feel the same way about Roland's action. Otherwise I think Rolands are great. This is tempting. Even better is the FP E50 at $899 with $100 rebate.

I haven't had the opportunity to try out a Kawai. Reviewers usually like the responsiveness of their actions and ability to be expressive. Lots of people talk about wanting to try Kawai but can't find a place with a floor model.

I bought this keyboard a month ago during one of those price drops to $569, honestly it's a really solid keyboard. I like the heavy action, it feels more like my Steinway than the other keyboards I've tried. It's got some really nice Rhodes, Wurlitzer and piano sounds on there, the organ sounds are not that good

If you're not planning on moving it around much, you could get the wooden stand roland offers. I wanted more portability so I went with this Amazon Basics Heavy-Duty Adjustable Keyboard and Piano Stand - Double-X https://a.co/d/izVQZIu
