I have used them both because my friend reviews tech products for a living and I go over and play with them. This is a much stronger processor. It also supports a desktop mode and the a54 does not. This has a glass build wireless charging and a lot more flagship features.

Major benefit to the a54 is that it's going to be updated for a lot longer.a54 we'll get Android 13 and 14 and 15 and this will probably just get Android 14. And it won't get security patches for as long.

Personally I would go with the Motorola but if I was recommending a phone to a casual user like my mom or my sister I might lean with the a54 just cuz it'll be secure for a longer period of time and they probably wouldn't make use of the flagship features like the desktop mode or the stylus.

The Motorola also has stylus support with an external stylus you can buy, an amazing desktop mode with a dock. Definitely a more premium piece of hardware

Yes this been going on for awhile in The Feb thread.

Was thinking of getting one but
Slow Moto Android upgrades, no dual sim, avg cam, large size stopped me.

Was going to get it for $50 with in store port in...but boost stores charge MSRP tax, activation fees, and higher plan... Similar to metro stores...so I didn't go that route.

Just a little review here. I received the phone on Monday and have been using it since. For $200 this phone is a steal. I am updating from a Oneplus 9 that I got last year on a Slickdeal from Best Buy for $150. The biggest issue I had was that it was only 128gb and the OnePlus 7 I had before was 256gb. This being 512gb takes away any space concerns which were a big problem before. The Snapdragon processor is top of the line and for me the Ready Now is a real game changer. I am able the phone on my desktop during work and now I don't need to use the phone itself at all for most things. It will also be great for using on vacation. I can just plug it into any hotel tv and have a desktop like experience or watch whatever I want from the phone. I was able to unlock it right away from Dr. Unlock on eBay who was recommended in the wiki. I am having the tracfone issue mentioned but I will order a new sim to have it transferred before the month of Boost is over. I also use Google Voice as my primary number so the actual service or phone number doesn't matter. No need to port my number when I switch services. I am no expert with cameras and i'm sure the cameras here will meet my simple needs. Overall this is a great deal to get a top of the line flagship phone at a great price.

SO what are we doing about the people that checked out with PayPal? I just went through using PayPal.payment declined but they charged my card 203 bucks .called boost and they are clueless how to help me .and PayPal is not giving me the option to request a refund really .idk what to do .reading through these comments nobody but one person that tried to order again and somehow wasn't charged the second time which im scared to try . Like boost can't get away with this .I need my money back ASAP .can't contact my bank because I used my cash app card that was linked to PayPal .
I would wait like 3 days and see if the pending charge falls off or not. If it doesn't fall off I would work towards a charge back I used PayPal for my order never got a shipping confirmation but it did go through after a couple of tries. I talked to boost support and got a tracking number and shipping confirmation.

Yea. I have a Samsung dumb TV and a wireless display adapter that runs Miracast or other mirror screen. It actually works with my Samsung phones but won't work with my Motorola or Pixel phones. I instead need to use Chromecast for my Motorola or Pixel phones to copy the phone screen. This Motorola should definitely work with my Miracast wireless display adapter though. Maybe I can download a Miracast app on a Chromecast or firestick and it would work? It will be cool to have a more polished desktop mode. I know some streaming video apps won't work with Miracast wireless display adapter but I picked a few popular video apps and they worked fine. I think like 4 of my 6 streaming video apps worked with Miracast and I'm fine with that. Copyright issues. Never thought about gaming wirelessly. I think it could be lil laggy and I really don't have the right games on my phone that work well for a television. Maybe I'll try Miracast with my Samsung a54 5g and see responsive it is. My games are really designed with phone controls though.

Here is the compatibility chart for ready for. Good news for this Motorola phone as it is compatible with wired and wireless.

My phone was ordered last night after 12am. It was shipped today, I still do not see IMEI in the app. How long does it usually take to show up?

For me it was a day after the phone was shipped. I never got a shipping confirmation but got an IMEI attached to my account. Phone was shipped 8/7

Order was made 8/5 in the morning using PayPal after one of my credit cards kept getting declined. But it went through on PayPal and received an order confirmation

And for me it was a few hours after receiving the shipping email. So it will vary.

It has also already been activated and being on the west coast, it's still 5 days out. Although I won't be using their service, that is kind of a bummer for those that are.

Ordered 8/5. Shipping confirmation 8/8. Expected delivery date per UPS 8/14. Sheeeeesh!

Any idea if this E+ 2022 will work with Indian carriers Jio/Airtel after unlocking it with ebay code?

So I am trying to figure out what to do with the two 1 month plans that I have. Has anyone tried porting out? How hard is it to get the port out PIN? I couldn't find it anywhere on the account online.
Were you able to figure out how to get the pin?

Did you do the check for Tracfone verizon? I know it is Tracfone GSM compatible. But my mom account is on Tracfone Verizon. Her area gets best coverage with verizon. Most important for me is to be able to call her.
I got a new sim card from total by Verizon, but they said that the IMEI of the Moto phone is not compatible on the network, so they won't activate the new sim card. I even entered the IMEI on their online checker tool and same error. Not sure what to do anymore Frown

I believe the edge+2022 and edge+2023 use ready for (wireless)... The edge+2021 didn't support wireless but supported wired for Ready For.
Edge+ 2022/2023 support both wired and wireless ready for mode. You may try to use wired ready for to bypass the copyright issue. You can also use them in ready for mode by connecting to a PC.

So some on here mentioned that this phone supports 5G on at&t...it may, but on Cricket it does not. Just FYI
