Anything related to WFH or becoming Streamer was right behind butt wipes (pun intended) during the pandemic in terms of inflation.

This mic is good, many reviews suggest using a different higher quality usb cable as there was a bad batch. Don't know if it was resolved or they still suffer issues. If you have problems replace the usb c cable and try again.
I am in for one myself. I have an audio interface and a XLR mic, and another JBL USB mic, but at this price it's hard to pass up so my work zoom calls are getting ready to sound much better!
