Seems like every month or so there is a $5 off coupon. A few weeks ago I used the SAVE5MPUL coupon to get $5 off $15 and repeated it a few times. If you are a member of the SIP club, the free drink you add counts towards the $15 subtotal so I would wind up paying less than half price. Coupled with carrying a gift card balance that was 20% off, Panera food can be quite affordable if using promos.
If you're a Discover card holder with 5% CB on e-Wallets right now, you can make this a little more slick by purchasing the GC through iOS Messages using Apple Pay and sending it to yourself:

Perhaps there's also a way to use Apple Pay and other e-wallets when purchasing Panera e-cards on their main site, but I wasn't able to find it.
Good deal if you're still happy with their food. Me personally, I used to love it but believe their quality has gone noticably.

Agreed. The price for what you pay and the portion you get is unreasonable. You'll need a coupon to even get a decent deal on a lunch combo. Pastries are still OK I guess as well as their Bagels

Used to jump on these 20% off deals, but need to think twice now that they've removed over-easy eggs and leaving just the mysterious "folded egg" as the only egg option for breakfast.

I have a free trial membership. There's a thread in the Freebies forum. YOu can get 3 free months of SIP club (free drink every 2 hours). If somehow that doesn't work, Panera is offering 2 free month trial on their SIP club on their website.

So true. Used to love love love their salads and some soups. Now I feel like it's very hit or miss on the food there.

Yep, that's exactly why I don't go anymore a) increased pricing, 2) smaller portion, 3) quality of food … instead we support now more local independent owned restaurants if we do not eat at home. Willing even to pay more for those as the money supports directly our community.

FYI - Portion size is a quantity issue, not a quality issue.

But at 20% off and then "stack" it with what seems to be a monthly deal of $5 off $15 and then you're probably happy. Overweight, but happy Smilie
