I have this. Great saw. Buttery smooth sliding arms with very minimal play. I'd say comparable to the Bosch articulating version. You'll need to rig a vacuum hose instead of dust bag if you want slightly less dust everywhere. No light or laser for lining up cuts, so check swinging the cut line is what you'll have to do. Better for accuracy anyways. I use a 12" freud 80tooth blade for finish work.

And that's what changed my mind on this saw. Once you're spoiled with that laser, it's hard to give up.

The compactness of this is nice. Probably would have gone with this if I hadnt just bought the ridged deal for the 12".

Ridgid's version of this is actually made by Delta. They licensed it from them rather than build their own copycat. That's why the Ridgid has no LSA.

Why does the 10" never go on sale? The 12 is really markedly bigger and the 10 fits so much better in space limited workshops!

This whole post is like a theater of the absurd. People talking about proprietary blades, lack of lasers or shadow guides and there's still no brand name in the title.

From what i gather it's got an awful wobble in the extended position to the point that some only use it in the "chop" mode. More of a novelty item than a true Bosch competitor.
