Field supply sold me a fake pair of 100$ pliers. I had real ones to compare them with or I would've never known. Just a heads up

I don't own a $20 pair of pliers, but Amazon has sold me plenty of fake stuff ... and in each case I followed up with them.

I haven't gone shopping for gas station knives in this century, but based on the pricing of gas station candy bars the last time I walked in one pre-pandemic, I think you're probably getting a better deal here. Yeah, the mythically US-made Gerber US1 I got with a Maglite for $10 is nothing to write home about.

edit: I just realized that I'd rather lose 4 of these than one of those made-in-Japan Kleins that were $8 at Home Depot a while back. Lost one of those Mad

Got a cheapo Smith and Wesson knife off Amazon for around this price and it has held up. I'd just wait for that deal to come back.

The new Iridium is excellent but yes, these knives are all garbage. Maybe Gerber is trying to come back with a couple of it's new knives?

Field Supply is also garbage. One of the worst websites I have ever tried to navigate.
