This is the epitome of ultrabook. ThinkPad Titanium is built like a tank and on top of that it's a Yoga too, so an amalgamation of two premium Lenovo lineups.
For what it's intended for, this processor is absolutely fine. The fact you're getting a ThinkPad + Yoga, new, with 16GB RAM, at this price is a treat in itself. How many other 3:2 QHD convertibles can you name? And at this price?

Thank you.
I'm thinking about replacing my X1 Carbon (4th Gen). It's the best laptop I've ever owned and is actually still great for most tasks after a remarkable 7 years (a cheap battery replacement is the only thing it's ever needed). I never use it for gaming, but when I occasionally want to work with RAW image and video files (which have gotten much bigger since 2016), the 6th generation i7 CPU and integrated graphics can "hang."
I'm not in a rush but I am keeping an eye out for a replacement and now I see X1 Carbon, X1 Titanium, X1 Extreme, X1 Nano... with prices ranging from $650 to $2100. My head is spinning.
In person the Yoga felt MUCH heavier. I also hated the aluminum finish as a thinkpad user. The whole laptop was almost "slippery" it was so smooth. Screen was very nice though.
Ultimately I sold it and am still on my X1 Carbon 9th gen.
If I were you I'd eye a deal on a X1 carbon, or extreme if you need a bigger screen and a dgpu. Or even something else completely with the 7840U CPU.
r/thinkpadsforsale is a good subreddit where you can find good deals on pretty new thinkpads.

Nowadays other machines offer even more performance with less energy this this one. Those machines are currently not at this price point.
It is somewhat of a you get what you pay for situation as far as performance is concerned.

1. The $750 m1 Macbook air came out in 2020. This came out in 2021. So if you think this is old...
2. The $750 Macbook air is 8gb, this is 16gb.
3. The Macbook is 256gb ssd (non-upgradeable). This is 512gb.
4. When I touch the screen on the macbook air, nothing happens. This is a touchscreen.
5. When i try to fold the screen 360 degrees on the macbook, it will break (yes, i am that strong). This is a 2 in 1 that will fold into tablet mode.
6. And last but not least, when I try to run a program that can only run on Windows, well you get the point.
7. Oh and this is cheaper.
Exaggerate much?
For the desired target audience of this laptop, the processor is literally the least of the bottleneck for performance.

This laptop is probably fine for Juniors/Seniors in high school but definitely not for professional.

Do you even understand the purpose of a 3:2 to begin with? It's meant for productivity; spreadsheets, PDFs, word documents, notes taking, etc. Nobody is buying this to watch movies on it with huge black bars (which obviously you can but it's secondary) and nor is this meant for photo editing or gaming, even though it can still do a bit of the former.
For any sort of the aforementioned productivity, this processor is absolutely fine. And not for professionals? Lool. Doctors and any other medical professional read PDFs (medical articles) way more than high school people, I'd know coz I do that. Same goes for professionals who make long spreadsheets.
