Latest update from JCP 7/25:
Matt: I am sorry to know that the Power Penney Coupon hasn't been received yet, we noticed an error in the server and some of the coupons haven't been sent out yet. Our team is currently working on it to ensure we send in the coupons for eligible customers.
Also note that the coupon expiry date has been extended till August 4th, 2023.

You: can I expect a coupon to actually come through?

Both - if you signup now, the only difference is you will get a marketing email about it when its live.

Note - when you create a rewards account, marketing emails are turned on automatically.
