Please check out your local library to see if they are subscribed to LinkedIn learning. My local library allows me to access LinkedIn learning and with the free subscription, you can access a lot of the blinkist content from that subscription. I know it's not going to be as robust as the actual premium subscription, but it is also free.

I tried this and it's a great price. I found reading summaries of books isn't really it for me though, it just feels too emotionless and a lot of the context is just hard to replicate in summary or bullet point format. If you don't care about that then this is a good price!

I've been a Blinkist user for years and it actually was the catalyst for me to begin reading more books via Audible during my commute. I took advantage of the $25 Black Friday deal as many of you did however I see some of you mentioning you are canceling and signing up for this one. My question is does anyone know if this deal is only for one year or is a lifetime locked price similar to the $25 Black Friday deal.

This was my exact issue. It seemed good for self-help sorta stuff, but topics I enjoy (history/etc.) just felt so soulless and I'd rather read Wikipedia or watch a YouTube video than this.

Can't speak to the last point, but AFAIK, Audible is mostly just audiobooks, whereas this is very-truncated summaries of books. They're pretty different.

Yes, there's an option to download the audio. I haven't personally tried it myself (I just signed up).
