Judging by the description and cost, these won't have good DAC nor insulation to be considered as good-sounding DAC. Of course, if you are used to cheapo buds, these should be okay if you really need to use wired buds.

This is probably fine for brief use, however for not much more you can get one that has a female aux input plus USB c input (so you can also power your phone).

Don't even bother with this random knockoff. Genuine Apple USB-C to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter [apple.com] is just $9 shipped directly from Apple. Or pick it up at your local Best Buy [bestbuy.com] for the same price. I definitely trust a branded item more for a couple of extra bucks.
