No disrespect but you guys are not going to "outgrow" these clubs in a few years. At our level, these clubs will be fine for the rest of our lives. This is coming from a guy who got fitted for clubs a few years back… it doesn't matter what we use at our level.

Interesting offering since their Kirkland Signature irons have yet to show after being expected in late spring/early summer.

I'm debating between these and the P790s. High handicap 25+ but i'm playing x2 a week and concerned that I might outgrow the stealth irons in a year or two. My swing speed is 100+ and I believe these are regular flex (vs stiff) which is also putting me off. Great deal though!

I am in the same boat and just got fitted for these but I ended up with the DG105 S, I wouldn't want this shaft after trying them out. I tried both the Stealth and P790 and they both felt great. At the end of the day, better flight characteristics and distance with the Stealth by about 15 yds and 1500 spin. I'm fast improving and my swing speeds are above average with irons, but I'd rather play these for a couple years and grow out of them than work harder than I need to on the course until the P790 suits me better.

They are made by Indi Golf. Kirkland is just a label to try to sell them

Probably.
Want cavity back.
Want regular flex.

Check reviews on how the sweet spot compares. That's important bc unless you can hit in the same spot, the larger the sweet spot, the cleaner the shot and the more feel and response.

However, as a true beginner, consider used clubs. older tech, but heck of a lot cheaper and if you get better, you can upgrade. I played a similar sized older guy in the 00's who was using Callaway X2's. He was hitting 8 iron to my 6 iron. absolutely crushing the ball. That taught me that tech/sweet spot does matter. I was using TaylorMade Firesoles.

It does matter though.

Blades and small sweet spot will result in poorer play, especially on off center hits.

of course, a great set for beginners isn't going to make anyone a scratch golfer, but it will definitely lower the score and make it more enjoyable.

Swing speed of 100+ definitely should not be playing regular flex.

If you're serious about keeping the pace of your game up that frequently then you should 100% get fitted and go custom.

Too bad these aren't stiff shaft - seems like a really good deal as used sets go for $650 on eBay

This is a really weird generalization of all golfers who read SD threads. Some are hackers, some are scratch or low hcp. Why generalize who will outgrow and who will not?
Sorry I forgot to hit the reply button. I was responding back to the person who said they were 25+ handicap.
