I just did it and it is a pain. It will not appear in the "activity" section of the Alexa app until you ask Alexa for Send me a Sample. If you want it to be available on Echo then you have to go into your skills in the Alexa App to enable it. The good news is you only have to do this once. People complain every time there is one of these offers but the time it takes to complain is about the time it takes to just set it up and be done for the next few years (at least until it changes platforms or what not).
