I know that the "tuning" is different but are these good enough for normal music listening and calls?
The sound is tuned with higher bass, but music sounds good on these. I haven't tried phone calls with this headset. I've had them for about 4 months and really like them for games like Battlefield. For $40, I think these are a good deal.

Overall? Yes. The microphone is decent, speaker audio quality is acceptable. I recommend having the usb dongle connected to an externally powered usb 2.0 hub which is as high (physically) as possible to improve range. Both Nari Ultimate and solo Nari Essential (3 overall) have range issues past about 15-18 feet away. Getting both dongles on the external powered hub up on a high shelf improved the range slightly, by about 4-6 feet.

The pair I have, over a year now, has always had great range, from one end of my house to the other. Yes, I did use a USB extension cable to raise it higher than my setup. This set has worked way better than any BT devices I've ever used.
THX is a watermark I'm pretty sure any brand can just pay to slap on their product. Just something to note since it's the main selling point in the item description.

Yes they're decent. I bought these on sale a few years ago for $25 each from Walmart clearance (posted on slick) and still use it to this day for work and pc gaming. They are big but comfy. Noise blocking is good too. Battery life is pretty long. I love how they're wireless. Micro usb charge tho :/
Love this thing got it for 35 and sound in some games just blows me away when I cant use my speakers. Not most comfortable but I usually game an hour or two at a time so no big deal. Solid value under 40!
