Yeah these sorta suck. Not bright. Dimmer than a 50 cent keychain flash light. Much dimmer than your phones led. You will get a very long run time on a pair of AAs though.

yeah I'd rather just throw a bunch of LEDs or glowsticks on a kid and call it a day at this price
For anyone doing the Hood to Coast or Portland to Coast relays next month - these lights are perfect for that purpose, we used them last year and they worked extremely well.
