Great deal for people with flip4. Got the flip 5 plus buds 2 pro for 80 out the door after discounts and rewards tranding in a flip4 that wife had signal issues with as well as just went thru warranty repair for a broken hinge. 50 bucks it worth another year of warranty not even accounting for going from 128GB to 512GB storage. Some people are sour they cant get on the deal.

You both are right. I don't have the flip4, and my s22 was quoted ~$440. Paying extra ~$500 for the flip5? I don't know. I had flip3 for about a year and it had numerous issues and glitches mostly on hardware side. Samsung wasn't really helpful even though it was under the 1 year warranty. If S23 deal comes out, I may trade my S22, but I am quite ok with my S22 now.

You need to pay it off first. See if you can find any BYOD deals from other carriers. I was lucky to utilize the BYOD from Tmobile to pay off my Verizon financed flip 3 2 years ago.

I was able to convince my wife who is extremely money-pinching and that speaks for something.

All in all, if you don't use the accessories and sold them, this deal actually makes money.

Selling on marketplace,
Watch 6 44mm EST $250
Bud pro 2 EST $100 x 2

Net $179 profit.

Only if you switch carriers.
If you are staying within your current network. The financial cost is on the line, not the physical device.

IE. if you destroyed your phone and replaced it out of pocket, it doesn't mean you have to buy your phone outright and pay the remaining fees.

In other words, you can trade-in your existing financed phone but you have to keep the line active.
